If you have users who change the time and date format, and you are using profiles that are discarded at logoff and relying on Personalization Server for environmental changes, you may notice that your time and date changes aren’t being saved. To be fair, it’s not the hardest conundrum in the world to work out, but to save you time and effort I will quickly cover it here.
The answer is pretty simple – the Registry key that covers time and date format is not, by default, captured into Personalization Server. So for users of AppSense Environment Manager prior to 8.0.959, they will need to add the Registry key into Desktop Settings, whereas anyone on 8.0.959 and above needs to add it into Session Data. Easy win!
Before I forget, of course, here’s the Registry key you need to add
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International
Job done!
